SIPTO welcomed by WIPO as a WIPO GREEN partner, the first amongst Japanese patent law firms
SIPTO is welcomed by WIPO as a WIPO GREEN partner, the first patent law firm in Japan to be entitled to such partnership. WIPO GEEEN is one of these WIPO initiatives to bridge the intellectual property and the global environment issues.

Against a backdrop of rapidly expanding the role of the intellectual property in the recent society, it is expected and anticipated that the intellectual property is to contribute to resolving some of the global environment issues. WIPO GREEN is an online platform for technology exchange by connecting providers and seekers of environmentally friendly technologies. Japan is, in collaboration by the government and industrial circles, an active player to support WIPO GREEEN, which was originally proposed to WIPO by the Japanese industrial circles. SIPTO, as a WIPO GREEN partner, would commit itself to continuously contributing to the promotion of both the innovation concerning green technologies and transactions of intellectual property.
