On January 23, 2026, our firm held the “2026 New Year Seminar and Networking Reception – Creating Value Through Intellectual Property in the Age of AI” at Station Conference Tokyo, located in Sapia Tower in Marunouchi, Tokyo, with approximately 150 guests in attendance.

The program opened with a message from “AI Masayuki Shobayashi”, followed by a panel discussion featuring Touko Takeuchi, freelance announcer; Toshiyuki Minami, weather forecaster; and Hitoshi Miyata, Representative of MISTLETOE Inc. As advances in AI continue to accelerate, the event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to reflect on the role of intellectual property and the future of value creation.
