Profile

Upon completing research with respect to materials science and engineering at university, Yoshinori TAKANO worked for a leading general electrical manufacturer at the Semiconductor Memory Development Center, and devoted himself to design and development of flash memory circuits. He then accepted a position at a patent firm, and subsequently joined the Japan Patent Office where he was assigned to the Fourth Patent Examination Dept., mainly in charge of examinations on technologies relating to non-volatile memories. After he passed the bar exam, Yoshinori completed the required legal training as a judicial apprentice, and was registered as an attorney at law. Upon joining Shobayashi International Patent & Trademark Office, he was registered as a patent attorney, and since then has been in charge of contracts, intellectual property valuation, lawsuits, patent filing and prosecution. His goal is to become an attorney at law and patent attorney who could adequately respond to clients' needs and expectations.
